Clifton's Lauren Dickinson of Robert Morris Voted
NEC Softball Player & Pitcher of the Year

| Robert Morris junior pitcher Clifton's Lauren Dickinson, a junior at Robert
Morris was named the Northeast Conference Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year. The former St. Mary's/Rutherford
standout was the all-NEC first team pitching honoree, posting a 23-10 overall record (17-4 in the NEC) and a 1.92
ERA (1.31 ERA in the NEC) while striking out 265 batters and holding the opposition to a .195 batting average.
She was the Colonials biggest threat at the plate, batting .384 overall and .465 in conference action. Dickinson
had been named to the all-conference second team as a freshman and first team as a sophomore. She led the league
in strikeouts by over 150 K’s and was tops the NEC in innings pitched (212.0) and wins (23). Offensively, she was
second in the conference in batting and tied for third in doubles. |
